This adorable little hand made Mini Picnic Table Squirrel Feeder with Peanut Hopper is made from real solid red or white Cedar Wood. It can be mounted anywhere outside of your home, on a deck railing, tree, wall or wood fence. It can also sit on a deck, table or mount on a post, sit on the ground, etc. It comes fully assembled and also includes some hardware to mount on a wall, tree, wood fence, etc. that can be installed by you, if desired (instructions included). Its dimensions are roughly 12" long by 10.5" wide by 16 inches tall. The top is hinged to allow peanuts in the shell to be filled and the squirrels will enjoy pulling them out of the bottom. There is a long screw mounted on each side for a corn cob, simply screw a cob of corn on it for the squirrels and birds to pick at. If you don't want to feed with corn cobs, the screws can be removed.
A STARTER KIT of food can be added to your purchase. The food comes in an adorable handmade Reusable Burlap Mini Bag and contains about 2 pounds of peanuts and two ears of Corn on the Cob to get you started!!! This add on feature is just $10 and will be shipped with the feeder.
The feeder is all handmade in my workshop out of solid Cedar Wood and is sealed with a weatherproofing sealer to ensure a long lasting life. All cedar has it own characteristics such as wood knots, grain, color darkness, etc. so no two look exactly the same.
Simply fill with unsalted peanuts in the shell and dried corn on the cob feed, available from most farm stores or online.
Instead of filling with peanuts, it will also hold a cake of suet for the birds.
Enjoy watching the little critters sit there having a picnic of their own.
